About the event
Philipp Hennig holds the chair for the Methods of Machine Learning in Tübingen. After studying physics in Heidelberg and at the Imperial College in London, he went on to complete his PhD on machine learning at the University of Cambridge.
Prof. Hennig is interested in connections between computation and inference. With international collaborators, he helped establish the field of probabilistic numerics.
