Beyond Academia with Thomas Börner

Beyond Academia is a new Seminar Series by Mindful Science, aiming at showcasing alternative careers to the classic academic pathway. The idea is for people that decided to leave academia to talk about what motivated their decision, how they got to their current role and how it compares to their previous academic work.

About Thomas Börner:

Thomas obtained his Masters in Neural and Behavioural Science at the University of Tuebingen before pursuing a PhD at Oxford University. He subsequently worked for a smaller pharmaceutical company conceptualising trainings for medical personnel. He now works as a Medical Science Liaison for a large pharmaceutical company.
