About the event
Beyond Academia is a new Seminar Series by Mindful Science, aiming at showcasing alternative careers to the classic academic pathway. The idea is for people that decided to leave academia to talk about what motivated their decision, how they got to their current role and how it compares to their previous academic work.
About Melanie Barth:
Melanie attained her Masters and PhD in Cellular Molecular Neuroscience at the University of Tübingen, where she worked at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE). She subsequently worked as a Medical Consultant at DDB Health for one and a half years before moving on to a new position as Senior Medical Writer at IPG Health Germany.
